Designed and delivered investigations and enforcement cases to promote competition and consumer protection in the UK professional services, and public markets sectors (15% of the economy).Conducted quality assurance and oversight on high profile mergers and cases, and taught the Advanced Econometrics course.
Led the highest profile enforcement case in OFT history.Developed cost/price analysis to challenge the legality of bank overdraft charges, with
£25bn of damages at stake, 8 litigants, and an 18 person team.
Developed UK economic policy on enforcing anti-trust law, merger control, and managing the associated regulatory landscape.Regularly provided economic advice on both merger and competition act cases. Worked with the OFT Board to identify medium-term threats and opportunities to the OFT, and then ensure that the Office was able to meet them.
Co-founded the OFT evaluation team, worked on organisational reform projects and advised on a number of high profile mergers. Developed mathematical simulation tools to model the impact of anticompetitive actions, agreements, and mergers, and applied them as a technical advisor to cases.

Supported the senior associates and partners in this boutique consultancy, which focused on regulation and litigation in energy and network markets. A key analyst in privatising the Turkish gas network, and in designing the gas network rules in Singapore, and was part of the team that made the legal case against Enron.
